Volunteer Opportunities at LES
The Orange County School Board supports and encourages the active participation of parents and members of the community in providing and extending educational opportunities for children. The involvement of parents, volunteers and others in the community who can serve as a resource to schools is a fundamentally important component of successful school programs.
LES is currently seeking volunteers to support our MISSION in the following areas:
- Support teachers in the classrooms support teacher with listening to students read and help math facts
- Support teachers with hands-on science lessons
- Support staff in the lunchroom and at recess
- Support with monitoring intervention such as Lexia Lab and IXL
- Play history games and review with fourth graders
- Join the PTA and help with PTA events
